In The Beginning
luvPOGL began, around 2012/13 as sort of an online signature I began using when sharing my thoughts and comments across different social media platforms.
Coming off the heels of a professional venture that failed, POGL llc., I then did what any professional should do; I kept evolving the failures into prosperity.
During conception I never thought of “luvPOGL” as a “character” like an actor/ress on stage. Rather, it was an attempt at organizing and identifying personal words and thoughts from an ocean of online users and media “bots” – or better called drones. The hashtag in a sense was used to “verify” or confirm that it was actually authored by me. It seemed to me helpful as back then, online profiles were only starting to think about a “business” use alongside the personal nature they are well known for. But, like evolution…
